Greeting everyone, Welcome Khmer Music Lyrics Collection. In here is my personal collection of Khmer Music mostly during the year 1960s and 1970s. The music by our top singers of the time Mr. Sin Sisamuth and Ms. Ros Sereysothea and many other famous singers of this period. You may note that there are none of Khmer modern music in this blog.
Cambodia has lost many of our precious treasure during the Pol Pot Regime and only very little is left. Music is also a type of art that represented the rich culture of my country during one of the time, that Cambodia had reach her prime. However, these music has left forgotten as more and more of the modern songs nowadays which mostly originate from other countries cultures invaded the mind of our young future generation. As you may excuse my mistakes and I hope that you didn't misunderstood my intention toward Cambodian music nowadays, my desire is only to keep the original of my country music in the mind of people and prayed that this valuable piece of art will always remain in the mind of all Cambodian citizens.
